Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6 are a bit more hands-on than Barn Finds, and that's what makes hunting them feel fun instead of routine. You don't need to grind through a "Discover Japan" milestone or wait for a late-game unlock. How the search actually works

There are 9 Treasure Cars in total, with 1 tucked away in each region. They don't appear on the map at first, so you'll need to drive, scout, and pay attention to the landscape. When you reach the right spot, a prompt appears, followed by a short scene, then the car is yours. You can drive it at once or send it to storage. If you'd rather skip the detective work, the paid Treasure Map can reveal everything, but honestly, that takes away some of the charm. Drone mode helps a lot here. City roads and lowland finds

The 1991 Nissan Figaro sits in Tokyo City, down along the southern coast. Use the westernmost bridge toward Drift Club island as your marker, then follow the shoreline east until you spot a small car park. In Minamino, the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is far easier to grab. Head for the golf course, find the clubhouse and the 365 store, then check behind the shop near the dirt event area. Ohtani's 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is fussier. Look near the western edge by Shimanoyama for 3 red towers, 1 larger white tower, and a wooden house. The RX-7 is on the southeast side of that tower cluster.

Mountains, coastlines, and rail routes

Ito hides the 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo up in the northeast highlands, close to the wind farm. Drive past the Toyota 2000GT Barn Find area, climb the dirt route, and watch for service boxes, railings, and turbine bases. The Safari is parked near one turbine, slightly southwest of the drift zone. In Shimanoyama, the 1987 Porsche 959 is almost casual by comparison. Drive northwest from the stadium into Narai-Juku and check the large roadside lot by the 365 store. For Nangan's 2005 Ford GT, don't rush the coastal road. In the far southeast, find the yellow roadside sign and take the narrow branch toward the overlook, where the GT faces Tokyo City.

The last northern and snowy picks

Hokubu's 1981 BMW M1 is best found by following the railway toward the northern end of the region. Keep an eye out for open farmland, flower fields, and the area near the Takashiro border. In Takashiro, the 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR waits by the waterfall stream. Take the dirt road past the torii gate on the temple route, near the Temple Run-Up speed zone. Sotoyama's 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale can be harder to see because of the snow. Start at Hakusan Mountain Lodge, head west along the Tateyama Alpine pass, and check the roadside lodge on the right.
